1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your wedding?

Hi my name is Albert, I’m 27 years old and I have been together with my wife for about 8 years since Junior College days til we got married this year. For our wedding, we were looking to have a simple but interesting wedding, not so high budget but can really show our personalities and celebrate this joyous occasion with our friends!

2. Before coming to us, what did you have in mind for your wedding suit, if anything at all?

I was going to just wear my cheap overseas tailored suit to save money at first. Also considered renting but considering that I may have opportunities to wear it for work and attend other friends wedding, I was convinced that it was probably good to own a good suit for once by my parents.

3. Was there any part of the process that surprised you?

Not really. Since I went to other tailors before (unless you are talking about preparing for the wedding then there are plenty LOL)

4. If you had to describe your wedding suit in three words, what would they be?

Unique, Slick and Style

5. What details of the suit felt the most “you”?

Hmm I think the inner linings with all the travel stamps from different countries since I really love to travel!

6. How did you feel the moment you put on your suit on your wedding day?

Splendid! Ready for the big day! (Cool and mysterious a bit HAHA since no one knew about my secret inner lining and my cool Doritos socks 😎)

7. What stood out to you most about your experience with A Gentleman’s Tale?

From my experiences (mostly overseas tailors), most tailors usually just agree with what you want, but for someone who doesn’t really know what would look good or what are the important details to make suits fit well, you are usually left to pick from the standardised sets adjusted to your sizes. For my experiences with A Gentleman’s Tale, they really provided a lot of feedback (even if it clashes with what I want), they offer alternative, discuss and explain why they think their recommendations would suit me better and how I can better customise the suit to both fit and look better on me. I think this is really what “customisation” should be, from scratch and to your needs.

8. What would you say to someone considering A Gentleman’s Tale for their wedding?

A set of good, lasting and comfortable suit that is to the best of your liking (and your future wife’s liking very important to bring her along!!!) honestly puts your mind at peace for the wedding, they settle nice nice for you so you can focus on other things in the wedding!
